Thank you for scheduling an appointment to visit Dr. Charu Mehta's medical clinic in the Long Reach Village Center in Columbia Maryland. The following are instructions for finding the office. For those patients who prefer to skip the instructions and instead derive them from graphics, all maps and photos referenced below are conveniently available under Maps & Photos.

The planned city of Columbia Maryland can be perplexing for new visitors due to the city's architectural covenants/restrictions which result in commercial facilities and associated activity generally being hidden from street/sidewalk view, thereby providing an aurally and visually aesthetic environment for the pedestrian-friendly city's residents. Thanks however to the Internet in general, and to online maps and satellite photos in particular, the stress of navigating the city to arrive at otherwise hidden commercial destinations is alleviated.

The following driving instructions assume the visiting patient is arriving from the Route 175 west exit off I-95. Sufficient information is provided via the maps and photos for the patient to derive driving directions if/when arriving from elsewhere (e.g. Route 29, Route 100, Route 32).

2. Exit I-95 onto Route 175 west

3. Turn right onto Dobbin Road.
   Don't panic if you miss the turn. Simply continue on to the next traffic light and turn right (onto Tamar Drive, which intersects with Cloudleap Court)

4. Turn left at the first traffic light onto Old Dobbin Lane

5. Turn left at the first/only traffic light onto Tamar Drive

7. Turn left at the first driveway into the Long Reach Village Center parking lot

   The village/shopping center is L-shaped. Park near the middle (inner-corner) of the L, in front of the "Doodle Hatch" store, where there are ample handicap parking spaces only 30 feet from the door to Dr. Mehta's medical clinic.

Dr. Mehta's medical clinic is at shop/unit #113 (opposite the "Doodle Hatch" store) and shares a party-wall with the prominent Howard County Police Department satellite office at shop/unit #114 ( photo 4 , photo 5 ). Please note; Google Maps mis-locates shop/unit #113 and #114 - showing shop/unit #113 at the location of shop/unit #114, and vice versa.

Enter Dr. Mehta's medical clinic at shop/unit #113. If you are visiting for a VA disability consultation then please disregard the sign showing our regular office hours because we extend our hours for veterans. ( photo 6 , photo 7 , photo 8 )
